Hostile Fire and Rescue Scene Hazards for Law Enforcement for the Clack Police Department

  • Clark Township Police Department 315 Westfield Avenue Clark, NJ, 07066 United States (map)

We will be presenting a new class, “Hostile Fire and Rescue Scene Hazards for Law Enforcement,” for the Clark Police Department. This is a 4-hour awareness program designed to help police officers recognize dangerous fire and rescue conditions before they become life-threatening. This class focuses on hostile fire indicators, smoke and flow-path awareness, motor-vehicle accident hazards, confined-space and trench-rescue concerns, and the risks associated with carbon monoxide emergencies. Officers will learn how to identify warning signs, avoid common scene hazards, protect themselves and the public, and support a safer, more coordinated response alongside fire and EMS personnel.
