Five Minutes to Win: Decision-Making in Dynamic Conditions is an advanced fireground leadership program designed to improve rapid, high-pressure decision-making during the most critical window of an incident. The course blends human-performance science, stress physiology, size-up fundamentals, and tactical principles to help f irefighters and company officers operate with clarity under uncertainty. Participants will learn how to manage stress, avoid common operational pitfalls, and apply modern decision-making. Real-world fireground examples, smoke-reading cues, and leadership behaviors provide immediately applicable skills that enhance safety, coordination, and confidence on the fireground.
