Fire Training & Consultants, LLC will present Understanding Fire Dynamics & Thermal Imaging for Bloomfield Fire Department.

This one-day program brings fire dynamics and thermal imaging together. Participants will examine fire development, heat transfer, ventilation, and flow paths, then connect those concepts with the information shown by a thermal imaging camera. The thermal imaging portion covers camera operation, image interpretation, limitations, and applications during size-up, search, fire attack, and overhaul. The focus is on recognizing changing conditions and using thermal information to support informed fireground decisions.

A controlled live-fire demonstration will connect classroom concepts with observations of fire behavior and thermal imaging.
