Battalion Chief Danny Arroyo will be presenting a 4-hour Command-Level Size-Up and Decision-Making Class for the Stirling Fire Department. This program will focus on building strong fireground decision-making skills through effective size-up, incident command, communication, tactical priorities, and command-and-control practices.
Students will review the importance of establishing clear objectives early, managing resources, maintaining situational awareness, and making sound tactical decisions during the initial stages of an incident. The class is designed to reinforce practical command concepts that support safer, more organized, and more effective fireground operations.
