Battalion Chief Arroyo will present his class, “Understanding Fire Dynamics: Ensuring Safety During Hostile Fire Events,” for the Stirling Fire Department.

This course offers a thorough understanding of fire dynamics and the factors that influence combustion and flame behavior in fire situations. Participants will investigate the science behind fire development, spread, and extinguishment, as well as the challenges posed by hostile fire events. Through theoretical knowledge and practical case studies, students will learn to assess risks, develop strategic responses to fire incidents, and enhance safety during such events. While it's not always possible to prevent a hostile fire event, this training aims to ensure that you do not become part of the incident.
