re Training & Consultants, LLC will be conducting a 4 hour training drill for the Kingwood Fire Department, featuring practical evolutions focused on MASS Area and RAAMS search techniques.

This program is designed to strengthen firefighters’ ability to conduct organized searches in large and complex spaces while maintaining orientation, crew integrity, and accountability. Members will review search rope deployment and management, team assignments, coordinated search patterns, and communication before applying these concepts during practical evolutions.

The training will emphasize working as a coordinated search team, maintaining a reference point and an established route of egress, navigating obstacles, and managing rope throughout the search. Air management, situational awareness, and clear communication will remain central to each evolution, reinforcing the importance of balancing search efficiency with firefighter safety.

Through hands on practice and instructor feedback, members will have the opportunity to refine their techniques, identify challenges, and improve coordination. The goal is to build a disciplined, systematic approach to rope search operations that crews can apply to their department’s response capabilities.
